Q. Do you have open calls?
A. No, we do not have open calls. If we are interested in seeing a monologue, we will invite you to audition.

Q. What kind of talent do you represent?
A. We represent adult actors for film, television and theatre.

Q. How do I submit?
A. We accept pictures and resumes by mail. We will respond ONLY if we are interested in setting up an audition.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. There is no charge for representation, but a 10% commission on all Union bookings (SAG, AFTRA, AEA) will be due.

Q. Why haven't I heard anything since I sent in my headshot and resume?
A. If you have not heard from us within approximately 6 weeks, you can assume we are not interested at this time. We encourage all talent to resubmit to us again in six months or when you have additional credits on your resume.
 

NEW TALENT
If you are interested in being considered for representation by Geddes, please follow the procedure below.
 

Please submit your headshot and resume through our mailing addresses or via email to smile@geddes.net. Please attach a headshot and resume to the email submissions along with any links to websites or videos you may have and write "New Talent Submission" in the subject heading.

Please do not call Geddes to follow up on your submission. Send your submission through the U.S. Postal Service or Fed Ex/UPS if you would like to track it. If you do not hear back from us, please feel free to resubmit in six months.
 

INTERNSHIP

Be an Intern at Geddes Students can get school credit while learning what it is like to be a talent agent. Experience can be gained in communications, theatre, and publicity fields. Environment is fast-paced, high energy and above all, a fun place to work! Job Description: Assisting all talent and voice-over agents by answering phones, pulling pictures/resumes for submissions, light typing, calling out auditions, assisting voice-over auditions and on-camera tapings, and various assistant duties, and assisting voice-over auditions and on-camera tapings. Qualifications: Basic interest in the film/TV industry and general office and computer skills. Reliability, ambition and good people skills are also required. This is a crazy business; it can get very hectic at times so we ask that you multi-task whenver possible and work efficiently under stress. It is important that you finish projects quickly and keep your cool under extreme pressure. Hours: Regular intern hours are 10:00am until 7:00pm, in half day shifts, typically. A minimum of two days a week are preferred.
